The College of Business at WCU offers an interdisciplinary minor in Conflict Resolution and Cross-Cultural Communication. In addition, Business Law faculty and students coordinate cases through the Campus Mediation Program at WCU. Student disputes are either self-referred or referred by the Director of Student Judicial Affairs. Faculty and student mediators jointly mediate these cases.

In addition, the College of Business also houses the North Carolina Agricultural Mediation Program (NCAMP), which is funded through a USDA grant award and matching funds offered through the College of Business. NCAMP mediates all disputes in the state of North Carolina between USDA agencies and their clients.
